In my opinion i think you should get him sercumsized because he would feel very left out … also you dont want him to grow up and wish you had done it for him. It is a window that you can do this for your son.

Have your doctors told you if you have had any change in effacement or dilation?! As for contractions I have been having them on and off for the past 4 days :/ and last night they were really painful and lasted about an hour 10 mins apart.

i think its up to you on the circ. but if your other boys are circ. then i would with grayson but thats just me but with my 2 boys they werent allowed to get circ till they were 2 weeks old they dont do it in the hospital here! good luck!!

Like everyone else is saying.. of course it is totally up to you if you want to get him circumcised. I do think that when he’s older he might have feelings that he wished you had it done for him since he is different than the other guys in the family. They obviously don’t remember a thing about it so I guess just way both options before you decide. I cannot wait to see him!!

I am so very glad that you are re-discussing your decision for circumcision. Thank you for taking us on your journey. I am 38 weeks, EDD Feb 6th, supposed to be a little girl; a planned homebirth with a homebirth midwife. I’m excited. Best of luck!

The circumcision issue is a tough one. I have two boys and both were . I do think that in a few years he may wish you had since his brothers were. If you do make sure they numb him up. Some doctors say numbing doesnt help that much but i beg to differ on that one. But i guess you have to do what in your heart you believe is best for Grayson. Good Luck. PS luvs are the only diapers that dont leak for me. Its funny how people can have different experiences with the same product.

Just really quick…my moms brother and wife circumcised one of their boys and not their other-as they got older it was a kind of hard for the younger sibling to deal with the fact that he was “different” than both his brother and dad-boys can be very sensitive of their male parts 
-I know you have totally thought about this too, but I just thought I would share-my husband came from a family of 4 boys, what a wonderful ride-congratulations

I say who cares, of course if he really was insensitive later on in life he could undergo surgery, but its pretty much just a matter of looks and does nothing except hygiene which most ppl shouldnt have problems with… I mean if guys way back when who never bathed didnt have issues why now-especially if you educate him properly.

I had left circumsion of my son up to my husband as well, but when he came into the world, he was so perfect! I just couldn’t do it! My husband didn’t fight me on it. I think he felt the same way without admitting so.

I just love your videos.your so darn cute!!Has any one on here ever had or know some one who has had a trisomy 18 child?My son is 8 years old. my girlfriend did a at home birth and had a trisomy 18 child also. just wondering if there are any moms out there watching all these wondefull videos with me that may be going through the same thing?

My son isn’t circumsised, for a few reasons, but probably the biggest one is, that it is almost impossible to get a child done in Australia, there are very very very few doctors who do it, and hospitals don’t ask if you want it done, they assume that no one does.
