that’s the point: she wouldn’t!
and she shouldn’t lie down to give birth either.
the best position to give bith is an upright position, like kneeling or squatting.
The “best” position is a subjective opinion, not a truth. And childbirth is not “disgusting”; that’s a truly nihilistic and cynical utterance. Rather, childbirth is human and is real, unlike much of the stuff you’re probably into.
This woman obviously had an epidural. I saw my sister have a baby (cold turkey) and it was not “calm.” I was about 13, I think. She was early and my Mom and me had to help. Never, do I want to see that again! I know it’s natural and all, but visually, it “ain’t” pretty.
you dont think you could but your body probably could and with all the medicines out there would help…its all worth it in the end anyways all of the pain pays off…
The difference in a woman’s behavior is her training in natural childbirth. Humans don’t have the same instinct as other animals in giving birth, so they must be trained.
On the contrary, humans do have the same natural instincts as animals when it comes to birthing. What women are subjected to though, is a barrage of advice about the “right” way to birth. The medical profession perpetuate this idea that women don’t know how to birth their own babies and it’s just bullshit. Left to her own devices, most women will adopt positions and techniques naturally, to cope and ensure the most comfortable birth.
Maybe in other countries where the instinct is not marred by technology. I’m talking about the United States. 90% of births are medicated. If humans could put instinct over formal education, they would be more adamant about refusing medication. The results speak for themselves.
Women have to be trained? Get real, you train dogs, birds, etc. You don’t train women to give birth. Women have been bearing children since nearly the beginning of time. It is a natural process that happens regardless of circumstances! The baby is coming out somehow, someway!
