   its called the implanon… DO NOT GET IT. my appt to get it taken out in next week. ive had it for 6 months now and have not stopped bleeding since. i get mood swings that i notice BLOD CLOTS and go through a box of tampons about every week and a half. it suck i hate this thing i wish i would have never gotten it.

   I agree with Cristy although I didn’t bleed with it (but I was breastfeeding at the time which is probably why) I did NOT like it, I still felt pregnant and no matter what you do you get fat!

   As others have mentioned, it is called Implanon. I suggest researching before reading "DO NOT GET IT" as it is different for EVERY women who has it.
   I personally had it for 3 years and I have to say it is fantastic. My periods were heavy, but they were anyway. If you are in a relationship and there is NOT a chance of catching STDs I would say it is the best contraception.

   If you have multiple partners, I suggest condoms.
