The condom could break and then your chances would be really high.

Do yourself, your parents, and society a favor: get on birth control. If you don’t want your parents to know, you can go to planned parenthood or any local clinic and get it for free.

You will be surprised, you will most likely really like being on b.c. It makes your periods shorter & lighter, it helps keep your face clear, and helps w/ cramps during your period. AND you won’t get prego!

Also, even if you are on b.c you should still use a condom. I don’t care if it is both of your first times or not. That boy could be lying to you about that. You have no way of knowing.

  2. ViiTaL iiMaG3 Says:

Less than 1 percent, until the condom breaks or spills, and it would be illegal for the two of you to have sex because you are under 18, while he is over.

  3. Dre Says:

You wont get pregnant as long as he doesnt bust the condom.

  4. The Good Guy's View Says:

I’d wait till you are married. Birth control is the better choice though if you aren’t going to wait

  5. Liliana Says:

I don’t think you should have sex with a 19 year old! But if you do, make sure you use a condom and you’ll be safe

  6. lixxen87 Says:

    hello
Condoms are about 98% effective where as birth control tablets are about 97% so everytime you’re having sex there is always that risk of getting pregant. Its ok tho… if you’re really worried about it go to a family planning centre and get (as we call it in NZ) ‘the pill’. And if then you’re still worried don’t have sex… but sex is fun and brings you closer to the one you love so have fun :)
    xx

  7. Rae Says:

you won’t get pregnant at all if you don’t have sex. :)

  8. GH Says:

condoms are 97% effective. the pill is 99% effective, when used correctly.

  9. Gracie Says:

Chances are pretty low if you use the condom correctly, but that doesn’t mean that you won’t be the 1% that it doesn’t work for.

  10. Wigglez =) Says:

    The condom will work fine.
But if you wanna have more sex, get the depo shot.
You won’t get prego within 3 months.
Make it a special moment :)
And you can also do it without protection…
But get the after pill and no worries.
    Good luck <3

  11. HRiCHxO Says:

There are major chances. When I was 17 I got pregnant, I was not on birth control at the time and we used a condom. It was our first time, and I got pregnant. She’s three now, and I am 21. So considering birth control would be a smart idea for you. You should try to protect yourself as much as possible, using both birth control & condoms.

  12. Shelley Says:

You could run into the chance of a condom breaking. You can buy a spermicide at the pharmacy that’s safe to use with condoms. Just read the directions thoroughly and make sure he doesn’t go down on you after you use the spermicide. This way, you’re using two forms of protection. Or just go get on birth control pills or depo, but always have the guy use a condom. As all forms of birth control are not full-proof! When you take other medications it could weaken your birth control pill, so keep that in mind.

Go to a gynocologist or Planned Parenthood and ask about all the different methods of birth control. But at least use two forms (condom and something else) to be extra safe.

  13. Taco Joe Says:

Go RAW DOG or it don’t count!!! you both are still virgins!!!!

  14. R.I.K. Says:

if done right, the chances are very slim/small.

there’s still a risk but a very small one.

I read that if you do it unprotected, there’s only a 25% chance for pregnancy. I learned this from people who have had children and the internet.

  15. Riley Says:

condoms are 99 percent accurate but on the case that its breaks or doesnt work you should have sex right after your period. its the least time your fertile so it would be even harder for you to get pregnant.

  16. heytheremegan Says:

    you wouldnt be pregnettt.
    (:
    dont worry,

  17. Dark Angel Says:

It is rather unusual to calculate when you want to have sex with someone. However, should the situation warrant it, birth control and a condom should prevent a pregnancy. Considering having sex without a condom would be the ultimate irresponsibility. It will not only help prevent pregnancy but also protect you from venereal diseases.

  18. Tito Says:

It only takes one little rip in the condom to get yourself pregnant. I suggest going on the pill as well as watching your cycle, if you’re that worried of becoming pregnant.

Always have a back up plan when it comes to these matters.

  19. soCleen Says:

    with a condom 125-1
    without a condom 5-1

  20. Lola Says:

Stupid kids play adult games and then suffer some serious consequences. Sex is for adults not children. Oh I know, you’re a teenager and you think you know everything. News flash, you know nothing about sex and are risking an awful lot. Don’t do it. It will destroy your relationship with your BF and you will waste an unrealistic amount of time worrying about pregnancy. Save the sex for marriage. Oh, and condoms have about a 90% success rate, but they can fall off, tear, leak etc. It isn’t worth taking the chance. Besides depending on where you live he’s a adult (over 18) and you’re under 18 and he could go to jail for rape or contributing to the deliquency of a minor..

  21. Piggy Says:

With a condom, chances are low.
Without, chances are very much higher.

  22. mickey31173 Says:

Not very high. but use a condom!!

  23. Molly Says:

having sex is always a little bit risky. but if you use the condom correctly you should deffinantly be fine.

  24. poorboykenny Says:

using a condom does not preclude getting pregnant….a condom is bascially to assist in preventing sexual diseases…your best bet is to get something from the family planning center…or go on birth control

  25. Liberal Atheist, OH NO! Says:

I was 17 when I lost my virginity to my then-nineteen-year-old boyfriend. We’d been together for months and I waited until I knew that I loved him, and that he would let me make the decision and not pressure me. It was a healthy decision. We’ve been together for three years January 3rd, and I think it’s because we took it slow[er than most people our age.]

But I would recommend going on the pill. You can often go on the pill for free at a health department or family planning clinic. Your parents will not be informed of such visits, either. It’s very nifty, besides pregnancy prevention: can clear up acne (did for me), regulate your periods (which is awesome), reduce cramping, etc.

If you DO decide to go on without the pill, try a spermicidal condom. It has a special lubricant (don’t do oral after sex–it tastes AWFUL) that helps kill any sperm that may have gotten past the condom. Also, see to it that he pulls out before he finishes. You should also monitor your menstrual cycle (look it up on google) to know when in the month you will be more/less likely to get pregnant. Combined, this method is over 99% effective. It’s VERY high when combined with birth control! Until you’re married/want kids, it’s best to be as safe as humanly possible!

  26. Tim Says:

If he’s 19 and still a virgin, your 17 and still one id say your chances are pretty good of getting knocked up. It seems that the "good girls" are the ones that the condom breaks on. So save it for the honeymoon, you’ll both be glad you did.

  27. ? Says:

The chance of becoming pregnant when using a condom is very small. There is another thing to consider…..Sexual activity is fun, it feels totally awesome but it’s habit forming. And once you’ve opened that door, it’s next to impossible to keep it shut.

There will be hot and heavy times when you both are in the mood, wanting it sooo much, and you don’t have a condom. It happens to everyone, and it’s really frustrating. It is times like these that make going on birth control pills a wise choice. I suggest you consider this option, or get a depro shot, it is good for 3 months. Abstaining when you’ve aroused every hormone in your body and his is like trying to stop the world from turning.

Summer will be here in a few months, the waiting and wanting will soon be over! Have a great time!!

    God Bless

  28. Sophie Says:

Condoms are like 99% effective if used correctly.
Maybe you should consider the pill aswell if you’re that worried.
