however, just because a condom is 99% effective, birth control is 99.7% effective, and pulling out is 70% effective. It doesn’t mean that the method is over 100% effective. Nothing is 100% except for abstitence.
your only good as your best protection, so I say 99.7%, the amount of your birth control.
also the only reason the pill is not 100% effective is because they take into account if a person skips a pill or two. So as long as you take it every day, at about the same time, you should be fine.
my suggestion is just use birth control and pull out. You don’t need to really use a condom too unless you suspect the you or your partner has an STD.
why would he need to pull out if your on birth control and using a condom? as long as you are taking your pill daily and at the same time each day you don’t need a condom, unless you are on anitbiotics- bc that cancels your pill out
You might be able to still get prego, but that’s slim. People would be surprised to learn that just because a guy pulls out they can still get prego. But since your on the pill and used a condom, I’d say it is pretty slim.
well it depends on a few things.
first. how well do u use the birth control? for the pill to be 99.9% effective you must be perfect with it otherwise its effectivness goes down to i think 92% ish…
second, did the condom break? if not and he still pulled out then its a very little chance.
so basically if you use ur bc correctly and dont miss days or take the pill more than a few min late i think your fine. like not even an .00something percent chance
you don’t really need to pull out if he has a condom on… your chances are 99.9%. the only way you can’t get pregnant is to not have sex.. I’m sure there is someone out there who did all these things and still got pregnant… the odds are extremely low…..
