    your not fertile on your period you have nothing to worry about, u do not release and egg during your menstrual cycle AFTER YOUR cycle you are fertile not the whole time but it depends on when u ovulate, cause everyone can be different, not every girls cycle is the same. BUT remember that u ONLY ovulate ONCE in each cycle, only one day and the egg is not even there all day long, once its released u only have a few hours or so to catch it. thats why its best to have sex the day before u ovulate, cause sperm can stay in u for up to 5 days, (keep that in mind too). so if u have sex on wednesday and ovulate on a Friday u will get pregnant friday rather u had sex or not, make sense? u dont conceive the day u have sex its the day u ovulate that is the day of conception. and right now u are NOT ovulating if u were u would not be having a period. but to be on the safe side in the future, know that sperm live up to 5 days inside you waiting for that egg, just do not let him ejaculate inside you anymore, inless u are gonna be on birth control.
